Prime Minister Charles Konan Banny has confirmed that his Government has taken full ownership of the road map for the peace process developed by the International Working Group.
وأكد رئيس الوزراء شارل كونان باني أن حكومته تمسك تماما بمعالم خارطة الطريق نحو عملية السلام التي رسمها الفريق العامل الدولي.

He indicated that some encouraging prospects for advancing the peace process had emerged recently as a result of initiatives taken by the Prime Minister, Charles Konan Banny, with the support of the President, Laurent Gbagbo, and other Ivorian leaders.
وذكر السيد شوري أنه قد ظهرت مؤخرا بعض البوادر المشجعة لتقدم عملية السلام نتيجة للمبادرات التي قام بها رئيس الوزراء شارل كونان باني بدعم من الرئيس لورنت غباغبو وزعماء إيفواريين آخرين.

3. Prior to the dialogue and until the signing of the new peace agreement, the Prime Minister, Charles Konan Banny, made efforts to reinvigorate the peace process by implementing the schedule proposed by the International Working Group at its ministerial meeting of 1 December 2006.
3 - وقبيل الحوار وحتى توقيع اتفاق السلام الجديد، بذل رئيس الوزراء شارل كونان باني جهودا من أجل تنشيط عملية السلام عن طريق تنفيذ الجدول الزمني الذي اقترحه الفريق العامل الدولي في اجتماعه الوزاري المعقود في 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006.

2. In my last report, I informed the Council that Charles Konan Banny was appointed on 7 December 2005 as Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire for the transition period.

Presidents Mbeki and Obasanjo returned to Abidjan on 4 December for the final round of consultations, at the end of which they announced the appointment of Charles Konan Banny as the Prime Minister for the transition period.
وعاد الرئيسان مبيكي وأوباسانجو إلى أبيدجان في 4 كانون الأول/ديسمبر لإجراء الجولة الأخيرة من المشاورات أعلنا في اختتامها تعيين السيد شارل كونان باني رئيسا للوزراء في الفترة الانتقالية.

4. The Group expresses its gratitude to the current chairman of the African Union, the President of the Economic Community of West African States and the African Union Mediator for the designation of H.E. Mr. Charles Konan Banny as Prime Minister of the transitional period.
4 - ويعرب الفريق عن امتنانه للرئيس الحالي للاتحاد الأفريقي ورئيس الجماعة الاقتصاديــة لدول غرب أفريقيا ووسيط الاتحاد الأفريقي لتعيين سعادة السيد شارل كونان باني رئيسا للوزراء خلال المرحلة الانتقالية.

The Council also endorsed the decisions of the Peace and Security Council that the President of Côte d'Ivoire, Laurent Gbagbo, should remain Head of State as from 1 November 2006 for a new transition period not exceeding 12 months and to renew the mandate of the Prime Minister, Charles Konan Banny, for the same period.
وأيد أيضا المجلس ما قرره مجلس السلام والأمن التابع للاتحاد الأفريقي من أن يبقى رئيس كوت ديفوار، لوران غباغو رئيسا للدولة اعتبارا من 1 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006 لفترة انتقالية جديدة لا تتجاوز 12 شهرا، ومن تجديد ولاية رئيس الوزراء، السيد شارل كونان باني للفترة نفسها.

5. In an address to the nation on 8 November, Prime Minister Charles Konan Banny expressed his determination to implement resolution 1721 (2006) and stated that there was no need for another framework to resolve the Ivorian crisis.
