Thomas Stelzer (Austria), in his capacity as Vice-President of the Conference, chaired the consultations.

The Bureau had further recommended that Mr. Stelzer (Austria) should chair the informal consultations.
كما أوصى المكتب بأن يتولى السيد شتلتسر (النمسا) رئاسة هذه المشاورات.

The PRESIDENT said that a number of draft decisions, contained in documents IDB.28/L.2-L.10, were submitted to the Board for consideration. They had been the subject of informal consultations chaired by Mr. Stelzer (Austria).
1- الرئيس: قال ان عددا من مشاريع المقررات، الواردة في الوثائق IDB.28/L.2 إلى L.10، معروضة على المجلس للنظر فيها، وانها قد بحثت في مشاورات غير رسمية برئاسة السيد شتلتسر (النمسا).

The Bureau had further recommended that Mr. Stelzer (Austria) should chair the informal consultations, as at the previous session.
وأوصى المكتب كذلك بأن يترأس السيد شتلتسر (النمسا) المشاورات غير الرسمية كما في الجلسة السابقة.

13. In accordance with rule 23 of its rules of procedure, the Board elected by acclamation Mr. O. Zniber (Morocco) as President; Mr. T. Stelzer (Austria), Mr. M. Kalinin (Russian Federation) and Mr. S. Ariyapruchya (Thailand) as Vice-Presidents and Mr. G. Alvarez Goyoaga (Uruguay) as Rapporteur.

16. The Board decided to set up informal, in-session consultations with the aim of facilitating the drafting of decisions and entrusted Vice-President Mr. T. Stelzer (Austria) (see IDB.28/SR.2, paras. 1 and 2) to chair those consultations.
16- وقرّر المجلس عقد مشاورات غير رسمية أثناء الدورة تيسيرا لصوغ مشاريع المقررات، وعهـد إلـى نائب الرئيس، السيد شتلتسر (النمسا)، برئاسة تلك المشاورات (انظر الوثيقـة IDB.28/SR.2، الفقـرتين 1 و 2).

13. The officers of the twenty-ninth session were those elected at the commencement of the first regular session in 2004: Mr. O. Zniber (Morocco) as President, and Mr. T. Stelzer (Austria) as Vice-President.
13- أعضاء مكتب الدورة التاسعة والعشرين هم الذين انتخبوا في بداية الدورة العادية الأولى لعام 2004: السيد ع. زنيبر (المغرب) رئيسا؛ والسيد ت. شتلتسر (النمسا) نائبا للرئيس.

17. The Board decided to set up informal, in-session consultations with the aim of facilitating the drafting of decisions and entrusted Vice-President Mr. T. Stelzer (Austria) to chair those consultations (see IDB.29/SR.2, paras. 1 and 3).
17- وقرّر المجلس عقد مشاورات غير رسمية أثناء الدورة تيسيرا لصوغ مشاريع المقرّرات، وعهـد إلـى نائب الرئيس، السيد ت. شتلتسر (النمسا)، برئاسة تلك المشاورات (انظر الوثيقـة IDB.29/SR.2، الفقـرتان 1 و3).

Mr. Stelzer (Austria) suggested that, in paragraph (c), the words " as well as the information provided in document IDB.28/CRP.7 " should be deleted.

The informal consultations to this effect were held on 2930 September, and 7, 12 and 13 October 2005 under the chairmanship of Mr. Thomas Stelzer (Austria), President of the Industrial Development Board.

4. In accordance with rule 17 of its rules of procedure, the Committee elected by acclamation Ms. S. Noriega Urizar (Guatemala) as Chairperson; Mr. T. Stelzer (Austria), Mr. G. Asiegbu (Nigeria) and Mr. S. Radomski (Poland) as Vice-Chairmen; and Mr. I. A. Akil (Pakistan) as Rapporteur.

Since the success of any international event depended on its preparation, he wished specially to thank those delegations responsible for the preparation of the Conference and in particular the Chairman of the Industrial Development Board, Mr. Stelzer of Austria, who had consulted intensively with interested parties on key issues.
