Article 97 of the Code requires the court to take effective action to end violations to which the child may be exposed in his or her private life, such as by the seizure of books, recordings, images, films, correspondence or any other document that could affect the honour or reputation of the child or his or her family.
كما اقتضى الفصل 97 من المجلة المذكورة أنّ المحكمة تتولّى وجوباً اتخاذ الإجراءات الكفيلة بوضع حدّ للانتهاكات التي يمكن أن يتعرّض لها الطفل في حياته الخاصة كحجز النشريّات أو الكتب أو التسجيلات أو الصور أو الأفلام أو المراسلات أو أي وثيقة أخرى تمسّ من سمعته أو شرفه أو سمعة عائلته أو شرفها.

229. Penal Code No. 16 of 1960 contains a separate chapter for offences against the character, honour or reputation of a person and punishes any act or offence that is likely to detract from the reputation, or offend the honour or standing, of any person.
229- وأفرد قانون الجزاء رقم 16 لسنة 1960 باباً خاصاً للجرائم الواقعة على النفس والعرض والسمعة حيث فرض عقوبات على الأفعال والجرائم التي من شأنها أن تؤذي سمعة أي شخص أو تخدش شرفه أو اعتباره.

It recalls that article 17 recognizes the right of everyone to protection against arbitrary or unlawful interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, and against unlawful attacks on his honour and reputation.
وتذكّر اللجنة أن المادة 17 تنص على حق كل شخص في أن يكون محمياً من التعرض، على نحو تعسفي أو غير قانوني، للتدخل في خصوصياته أو شؤون أسرته أو بيته أو مراسلاته، ولا لأي حملات غير قانونية تمس شرفه أو سمعته.

153. The Criminal Code, Law No. 16 of 1960, contains a separate chapter devoted to offences against the character, honour or reputation of a person, and provides penalties for any act or offence that is likely to detract from the reputation or offend the honour or standing of any person.
153- وخصص قانون الجزاء رقم 16 لسنة 1960 باباً خاصاً للجرائم الواقعة على النفس والعرض والسمعة، حيث فرض عقوبات على الأفعال والجرائم التي من شأنها أن تؤذي سمعة أي شخص أو تخدش شرفه أو اعتباره.

No one shall be subjected to any intrusion into his personal or family affairs or his home or correspondence, or to any other intrusion likely to damage his honour or reputation except in accordance with the law and the procedures established thereby. "
فلا يجوز تعرض أي شخص، لأي تدخل في خصوصياته، أو شؤون أسرته، أو مسكنه أو مراسلاته، أو أية تدخلات تمس شرفه أو سمعته، إلا وفقاً لأحكام القانون وبالكيفية المنصوص عليها فيه " .
