5. Great care has been taken to ensure that the implementation measures take due account of the guidance given by Member States in the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " .
5- وقد تم إيلاء عناية فائقة لكفالة أن تولي تدابير التنفيذ الاعتبار الواجب للإرشادات التي قدّمتها الدول الأعضاء في المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " .

Mr. KYEREMATEN (Ghana) said that his Government welcomed the 1997 Business Plan on the Role and Functions of UNIDO, the medium-term programme framework for 2002-2005, the strategic guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " and UNIDO's corporate strategy document (GC.10/14, annex).

In resolution GC.10/Res.2 on the medium-term programme framework, 2004-2007, the Conference requested the Director-General to take into account, when implementing the technical assistance and research programme during the period 2004-2007, the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " and document GC.10/14.
ففي القرار م ع - 10/ق - 2 بشأن الإطار البرنامجي المتوسط الأجل، 2004 - 2007، طلب المؤتمر إلى المدير العام أن يأخذ في اعتباره، لدى تنفيذ برنامج المساعدة التقنية والبحوث خلال الفترة 2004 - 2007، المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " والوثيقة GC.10/14.

New synergies would place the Organization in a better position to implement the 1997 Business Plan and the strategic guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " .

Further, in line with the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " , efforts were intensified to promote business alliances as a focus area.

وإذ يأخذ في اعتباره التوجيهات الإضافية التي قدمتها الدول الأعضاء إلى المنظمة من خلال المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية المعنونة " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " ، التي اعتمدها مجلس التنمية الصناعية في دورته السادسة والعشرين في مقرره م ت ص-26/م-7،

These measures were described in detail in document IDB.29/12, chapter I, as was the care taken to ensure that due account was taken of the guidance given by Member States in the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " .
وقد وصفت هذه التدابير بالتفصيل في الفصل الأول من الوثيقة IDB.29/12، كما وُصفت في هذا الفصل العناية التي أوليت لضمان أخذ التوجيهات التي قدّمتها الدول الأعضاء في المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " بعين الاعتبار على النحو الواجب.

4. UNIDO will need to address these challenges on the basis of its mandate, taking into account the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO, the Strategic Guidelines Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery, and its corporate strategy, using its comparative advantage to ensure value addition within the framework of the United Nations development system.
4- يجب أن تواجه اليونيدو هذه التحديات من منطلق مركزها وولايتها، أخذة في خطة الأعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل والمبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو واستراتيجيتها المؤسسية، مستخدمة مزيتها النسبية لضمان الاتيان بقيمة مضافة في اطار جهاز الأمم المتحدة الانمائي.

That vision should be developed in such a way as to promote reform efforts and be in conformity with the 1997 Business Plan on the Role and Functions of UNIDO and the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " .

1. The Industrial Development Board adopted at its twenty-sixth session the strategic guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " (IDB.26/Dec.7) providing additional clear guidelines to the Secretariat to various ongoing efforts based on earlier decisions of the policy-making organs.
1- اعتمد مجلس التنمية الصناعية، في دورته السادسة والعشرين، المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " (م ت ص-26/م-7) التي وفرت مبادئ توجيهية إضافية واضحة للأمانة بشأن مختلف الجهود الجارية استنادا إلى مقررات سبق أن أصدرتها أجهزة تقرير السياسات.

19. In November 2002, the Industrial Development Board adopted the strategic guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " , while deciding that the Business Plan remains the strategic framework for UNIDO's work (IDB.26/Dec.7).
19- وفي تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2002، اعتمد مجلس التنمية الصناعية المبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية المعنونة " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " ، وقرّر في الوقت نفسه أن تظل خطة الأعمال الإطار الاستراتيجــي لعمل اليونيدو (م ت ص-26/م-7).

(c) Acknowledged the important contribution of UNIDO towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals through effective implementation of its Business Plan and the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " , as well as the Strategic Long-term Vision Statement;
(ج) سلّم بأهمية إسهام اليونيدو في بلوغ الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية من خلال التنفيذ الفعّال لخطة أعمال اليونيدو ومبادئها التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " ، وكذلك لبيان رؤية اليونيدو الاستراتيجية الطويلة الأمد؛

Supports UNIDO's attempts to achieve a greater synergy between its global forum and technical cooperation activities based on the corporate strategy and the Strategic Guidelines `Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery'and to formulate an appropriate research agenda on the basis of the principles outlined in document GC.10/14, in order to provide an analytical and conceptual framework for these activities;

4. In addition, the resolution supported UNIDO's attempts to take into account document GC.10/CRP.4 and the Strategic Guidelines " Towards improved UNIDO programme delivery " , adopted by the twenty-sixth session of the Board in decision IDB.26/Dec.7, when implementing the Organization's technical assistance and research programme.
وإضافة إلى ذلك، أُعرب في القرار عن التأييد لمساعي اليونيدو من أجل أن تؤخذ في الاعتبار الوثيقة GC.10/CRP.4 والمبادئ التوجيهية الاستراتيجية " صوب تحسين إنجاز برنامج اليونيدو " ، التي اعتمدها مجلس التنمية الصناعية في دورته السادسة والعشرين في مقرره م ت ص-26/م-7، لدى تنفيذ برنامج المنظمة في مجال المساعدة التقنية والبحوث.
