The President stated that, following consultations of the Council, he had been authorized to make a statement on behalf of the Council and read out the text of that statement (for the text, see S/PRST/2004/1; to be issued in Official Records of the Security Council, Resolutions and Decisions of the Security Council, 1 August 2003-31 July 2004).
وصرح الرئيس بأن المجلس أذن له بعد مشاورات أجراها بالإدلاء ببيان باسم المجلس وقرأ نص ذلك البيان (للاطلاع على النص، انظر S/PRST/2004/1؛ الذي سيصدر ضمن الوثائق الرسمية لمجلس الأمن للفترة من 1 آب/أغسطس 2003 إلى 31 تموز/يوليه 2004).
