(ز) تنفيذ عدة أمور منها ما ورد في تقرير المقرر الخاص المعني بالتعصب الديني لعام 1996() من توصيات بشأن السبل التي يمكن بها لجمهورية إيران الإسلامية أن تحرر طائفة البهائيين والإفراج عن القادة البهائيين السبعة المحتجزين منذ عام 2008 ومنح جميع البهائيين، بمن فيهم المسجونون بسبب معتقداتهم، حق المحاكمة وفق الأصول القانونية وكفالة تمتعهم بالحقوق المكفولة لهم دستوريا؛

He understands that the Baha'i community continues to be subject to harassment and discrimination in the areas of, inter alia, education, employment, travel, housing and the enjoyment of cultural activities.

However, his delegation continued to note with concern the human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially with regard to women's rights, freedom of speech and association, the perceived lack of due process, juvenile executions, public executions and inhumane or degrading treatment, and minority rights, particularly those of the Baha'i community.

For example, if a Bahai student at university chooses an Islamic teachings course, he or she is pressured by the Bahai sect. It is repeatedly asserted that educational centres in the Islamic Republic of Iran, like those of other countries, are obligated to respect domestic rules and regulations.
