The Commission, in its decision 2003/107, and the Council, in its decision 2003/264, endorsed the request of the Sub-Commission.

It also welcomed the draft declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples adopted by the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities and supported the SubCommission's request that the Commission on Human Rights should consider the draft text as expeditiously as possible.

1. The Inter-agency Task Force on International Merchandise Trade Statistics, was established in 1990 by the United Nations Statistics Division at the request of the Subcommittee on Statistical Activities.

165. The Commission, in its resolution 1995/42, recommended that the Economic and Social Council endorse the SubCommission's request.

2. If the State Party fails to cooperate or refuses to improve the situation in the light of the Subcommittee's recommendations, the Committee against Torture may at the request of the Subcommittee decide by a majority of its members, after the State Party has had an opportunity to make known its views, to make a public statement on the matter or to publish the Subcommittee's report.
2- إذا لم تتعاون الدولة الطرف أو إذا رفضت تحسين الأوضاع على ضوء توصيات اللجنة الفرعية، جاز للجنة مناهضة التعذيب أن تقرر، بأغلبية أعضائها، بناء على طلب اللجنة الفرعية وبعد إتاحة الفرصة للدولة الطرف لتبرير موقفها، إصدار بيان علني بهذا الخصوص أو نشر تقرير اللجنة الفرعية.

209. The Commission, in its decision 1997/110, recommended that the Economic and Social Council endorse the Sub-Commission's requests to the Special Rapporteur concerning his mandate.
