6.6 The Committee therefore finds that the information submitted to it does not demonstrate that there are substantial grounds for believing that the author would be in danger of being personally tortured if returned to Bangladesh.
6-6 ولذلك تجد اللجنة أن المعلومات المقدمة إليها لا تبين أن هناك أسساً جوهرية للاعتقاد بأن مقدم البلاغ سيتعرض شخصياًً لخطر التعذيب إذا عاد إلى بنغلاديش.

3.1 The complainant argues that there are substantial grounds for believing that he would be subjected to torture if returned to Bangladesh, and that this would constitute a violation of article 3 of the Convention by Sweden.
3-1 يدعي صاحب الشكوى أنه توجد أسس قوية تدعو إلى الاعتقاد بأنه سيتعرض للتعذيب لو عاد إلى بنغلاديش وأن ذلك سيشكل انتهاكاً من طرف السويد للمادة 3 من الاتفاقية.

It does not necessarily follow that, six years after the alleged events occurred, he would still be at risk of being subjected to torture if returned to Bangladesh in the near future.

7.4 In the present case, the Committee observes that the main reasons for which the complainant fears a personal risk of torture if returned to Bangladesh are that he was previously subjected to torture for his membership in the Awami League by BNP supporters, and that he risks imprisonment and torture by the police upon return to Bangladesh because of his alleged homicide charges.
7-4 وتلاحظ اللجنة في الحالة الراهنة أن الأسباب الرئيسية التي يخشى صاحب الشكوى أن تؤدي إلى خطر شخصي للتعذيب إذا عاد إلى بنغلاديش هي أنه تعرض سابقاً للتعذيب بسبب عضويته في رابطة أوامي، على أيدي أنصار الحزب الوطني البنغلاديشي، وأنه معرض لخطر السجن والتعذيب على أيدي قوات الشرطة عند عودته إلى بنغلاديش بسبب تهم القتل المزعوم الموجهة إليه.

6.5 In the present case, the Committee considers that the main reason why the complainant is afraid that he will be tortured if he returns to Bangladesh is that he was allegedly tortured there while being held in Dhaka prison in May and June 2000 and that he would be at risk of being arrested on his return because of the criminal charges against him.
