The General Assembly held its twenty-fourth special session, entitled, " World Summit for Social Development and Beyond: achieving social development for all in a globalizing world " , at Geneva from 26 June to 1 July 2000.
وخلال الأسبوع الأخير من حزيران/يونيه عام 2000، اجتمعت الجمعية العامة في جنيف بالفترة من 26 حزيران/يونيه إلى 1 تموز/يوليه 2000 في دورتها الاستثنائية الرابعة والعشرين المعنونة " مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية وما بعده: تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية للجميع في عالم سائر في طريق العولمة " .

In accordance with the General Assembly resolution 55/46 on the implementation of the outcome of the World Summit for Social Development and of the twenty-fourth special session of the General Assembly entitled " World Summit for Social Development and beyond: achieving social development for all in a globalizing world " , the Commission will undertake regular assessment of the implementation of the outcome of the Summit and special session.
وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة 55/46 بشأن تنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية والدورة الاستثنائية الرابعة والعشرين للجمعية العامة المعنونة " مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية وما بعده: تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية للجميع في عالم سائر في طريق العولمة " ، ستجري اللجنة بانتظام تقييما لتنفيذ نتائج مؤتمر القمة والدورة الاستثنائية.
