16. Paragraph 8 of decision 16/COP.9 directs the Bureau of the CST to ensure that the selection of the institution/consortium is done in a transparent manner, and in strict accordance with the established criteria, if any, and to avoid any conflict of interest between the institution/consortium selected and any Bureau member.
16- وفي الفقرة 8 من المقرر 16/م أ-9، يوعز مؤتمر الأطراف إلى مكتب لجنة العلم والتكنولوجيا بأن يكفل اختيار المؤسسة/الاتحاد بطريقة شفافة وعلى أساس التقيد التام بالمعايير المحددة، إن وجدت، وتجنُّب أي تضارب في المصالح بين المؤسسة/الاتحاد الذي يتم اختياره وأي عضو من أعضاء المكتب.
