Considering that the midway point of the period 2011-2020, proclaimed by the General Assembly, in its resolution 65/119 of 10 December 2010, as the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism, will soon be reached,
وإذ تضع في الاعتبار أنه قد مضى قرابة نصف الفترة 2011-2020 التي أعلنتها الجمعية العامة عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار، وذلك في قرارها 65/119 المؤرخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010،

Considering that the period 2011-2020 was proclaimed by the General Assembly, in its resolution 65/119 of 10 December 2010, as the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism,
وإذ تضع في الاعتبار أن الجمعية العامة أعلنت الفترة 2011-2020 عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار، وذلك في قرارها 65/119 المؤرخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010،

(a) Noted that the period 2011-2020 was proclaimed by the General Assembly as the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism.
(أ) أشاروا إلى أن الجمعية العامة أعلنت الفترة 2011-2020 عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار.

Considering that the midway point of the period 2011-2020, proclaimed by the General Assembly in its resolution 65/119 of 10 December 2010 as the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism, will soon be reached,
وإذ تضع في الاعتبار أنه قد مضى قرابة نصف الفترة 2011-2020 التي أعلنتها الجمعية العامة عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار، وذلك في قرارها 65/119 المؤرخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010،

28. On 18 June 2010, the Special Committee, having reviewed the progress with regard to the implementation of General Assembly resolution 55/146 and of the plan of action for the Second Decade, adopted a resolution in which, inter alia, it decided to recommend that the General Assembly should declare the period 2011-2020 the Third International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism.
28 - وفي 18 حزيران/يونيه 2010، قامت اللجنة الخاصة، بعد استعراضها للتقدم المحرز في مجال تنفيذ قرار الجمعية العامة 55/146 وخطة العمل الخاصة بالعقد الثاني، باعتماد قرار قررت فيه جملة أمور منها، أن توصي بضرورة أن تعلن الجمعية العامة الفترة 2011-2020 عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار.

وإذ تضع في اعتبارها قرارها 65/119 المؤرخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2010 الذي أعلنت فيه الفترة 2011-2020 عقدا دوليا ثالثا للقضاء على الاستعمار وضرورة دراسة سبل التحقق من رغبات شعوب الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي استنادا إلى القرار 1514 (د-15) والقرارات الأخرى المتعلقة بإنهاء الاستعمار،
