In its resolution 54/54 H, entitled " Consolidation of peace through practical disarmament measures " , the General Assembly encouraged Member States, including the Group of interested States, to lend their support to the Secretary-General in responding to requests by Member States to collect and destroy small arms and light weapons in post-conflict situations.
وفي قرارها 54/54 حاء المعنون " توطيد السلام من خلال تدابير عملية لنزع السلاح " ، شجعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء، بما فيها مجموعة الدول المهتمة، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها للأمين العام في عملية الاستجابة لطلبات الدول الأعضاء المتعلقة بجمع الأسلحة الصغيرة والخفيفة وتدميرها في حالات ما بعد الصراع.

5. Encourages Member States, including the group of interested States, to lend their support to the Secretary-General in responding to requests by Member States to collect and destroy small arms and light weapons in post-conflict situations;
٥ - تشجع الدول اﻷعضاء، بما فيها مجموعة الدول المهتمة باﻷمر، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها لﻷمين العام في عملية الاستجابة لطلبات الدول اﻷعضاء المتعلقة بجمع اﻷسلحة الصغيرة والخفيفة وتدميرها في حالات ما بعد الصراع؛

4. Encourages Member States, including the group of interested States, to lend their support to the Secretary-General in responding to requests by Member States to collect and destroy small arms and light weapons in post-conflict situations;
4 - تشجع الدول الأعضاء، بما فيها مجموعة الدول المهتمة بالأمر، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها للأمين العام في استجابته لطلبات الدول الأعضاء المتعلقة بجمع الأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة وتدميرها في حالات ما بعد الصراع؛

2. Takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the consolidation of peace through practical disarmament measures, submitted pursuant to resolution 51/45 N, and once again encourages Member States, as well as regional arrangements and agencies, to lend their support to the implementation of recommendations contained therein;
2 - تحيط علما بتقرير الأمين العام عن توطيد السلام من خلال تدابير عملية لنـزع السلاح، المقدم عملا بالقرار 51/45 نون()، وتشجع من جديد الدول الأعضاء، وكذلك الترتيبات والوكالات الإقليمية، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها لتنفيذ التوصيات الواردة فيه؛

4. Encourages Member States, including the group of interested States, to lend their support to the Secretary-General, relevant international, regional and subregional organizations, in accordance with Chapter VIII of the Charter of the United Nations, and non-governmental organizations in responding to requests by Member States to collect and destroy small arms and light weapons in post-conflict situations;
4 - تشجع الدول الأعضاء، بما فيها مجموعة الدول المهتمة بالأمر، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها للأمين العام وللمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية ودون الإقليمية ذات الصلة، وفقا لأحكام الفصل الثامن من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وللمنظمات غير الحكومية في استجابتهم لطلبات الدول الأعضاء المتعلقة بجمع الأسلحة الصغيرة والأسلحة الخفيفة وتدميرها في حالات ما بعد الصراع؛

٣ - تحيط علما بتقرير اﻷمين العام عن توطيد السلم من خلال تدابير عملية لنزع السلاح)٥١(، المقدم عملا بالقرار ٥١/٤٥ نون، وتشجع من جديد الدول اﻷعضاء، وكذلك الترتيبات والوكالات اﻹقليمية، على أن تقدم مؤازرتها لتنفيذ التوصيات الواردة فيه؛
