37- يجدد في هذا السياق نداءه إلى الدول للتفكير في التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها كمسألة ذات أولوية عالية، إن لم تكن قد فعلت ذلك بعد؛

1. The General Assembly, by its resolution 45/158 of 18 December 1990, adopted and opened for signature, ratification and accession the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families and called upon all Member States to consider signing and ratifying or acceding to the Convention as a matter of priority.
١ - اعتمدت الجمعية العامة، بقرارها ٤٥/١٥٨ المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٠، وفتحت للتوقيع والتصديق والانضمام الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم، ودعت جميع الدول اﻷعضاء إلى النظر في التوقيع والتصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها على سبيل اﻷولوية.

2. Welcomes the entry into force on 14 December 2005 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, and urges Member States from all regions of the world and relevant economic integration organizations that have not yet done so to consider ratifying or acceding to the Convention as soon as possible in order to facilitate its effective implementation;
2 - يرحب ببدء نفاذ اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد(70) في 14 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2005، ويحث الدول الأعضاء من جميع مناطق العالم ومنظمات التكامل الاقتصادي ذات الصلة التي لم تنظر بعد في التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها على القيام بذلك في أقرب وقت ممكن من أجل تيسير تنفيذ الاتفاقية تنفيذا فعالا؛

Other States Parties have regularly raised ratification of or accession to the Convention with States not parties.

It urged Governments to undertake the speedy ratification of or accession to the Convention and to ensure its effective implementation.

It urged those Member States which had not yet signed or acceded to the Convention to do so.

8. Welcomes the high number of Member States that have already ratified or acceded to the Convention, and in this regard urges all Member States and competent regional economic integration organizations, within the limits of their competence, that have not yet done so to consider ratifying or acceding to the Convention as a matter of priority, and calls upon all States parties to fully implement the Convention as soon as possible;
8 - ترحب بتصديق عدد كبير من الدول الأعضاء على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها بالفعل، وتحث، في هذا الصدد، جميع الدول الأعضاء ومنظمات التكامل الاقتصادي الإقليمي المختصة التي لم تصدق على الاتفاقية أو لم تنضم إليها بعد على أن تنظر، كل في نطاق اختصاصها، في القيام بذلك على سبيل الأولوية، وتهيب بجميع الدول الأطراف تنفيذ الاتفاقية بشكل كامل في أقرب وقت ممكن؛

Recalling the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is the most comprehensive and universal instrument on corruption, and recognizing the need to continue promoting ratification or accession to the Convention and of its full implementation,
وإذ تشير إلى اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد، الصك الأكثر شمولا وعالمية في مجال مكافحة الفساد، وتسلم بضرورة الاستمرار في التشجيع على التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها وتنفيذها تنفيذا تاما،

Recalling the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is the most comprehensive and universal instrument on corruption, and recognizing the need to continue to promote ratification or accession to the Convention and its full implementation,
وإذ تشير إلى اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد، وهي الصك الأكثر شمولا وعالمية بشأن الفساد، وإذ تسلم بالحاجة إلى مواصلة التشجيع على التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها وعلى تنفيذها بشكل كامل،

Hence, only ratification of or accession to the Convention and strict compliance with it by all States will guarantee that this instrument will serve its purpose.
ومن ثم، فإن التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها والامتثال الصارم لها من جانب جميع الدول الضمان الوحيد بأن هذا الصك سيخدم غرضه.

To date, 120 States have ratified or acceded to the Convention and 141 States have either signed, ratified or acceded to it.
وحتى الآن صدقت 120 دولة على الاتفاقية أو انضمت إليها وقامت 141 دولة التوقيع أو التصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها.

To date, 25 member States of the Organization of American States have ratified or acceded to the Convention.
وحتى اﻵن، قامت ٢٥ دولة من الدول اﻷعضاء في منظمة الدول اﻷمريكية بالتصديق على الاتفاقية أو الانضمام إليها.

We urge all other States to ratify or accede to the Convention as soon as possible.
