The Committee recalls in this respect that article 14 of the Convention recognizes not only the right to fair and adequate compensation, but also requires States parties to ensure that the victim of an act of torture obtains redress.

29- تلاحظ اللجنة أن قانون أصول المحاكمات الجزائية وقانون العقوبات يتضمنان بعض الأحكام المتعلقة بالحق في الحصول على التعويض عن طريق تقديم طلب إلى محكمة مختصة للحصول على تعويض عادل ومناسب يراعي جميع الأضرار المادية والنفسية المتكبدة.

3.6 The complainant finally invokes a violation of article 14, read together with article 16, paragraph 1, because of the absence of redress and of fair and adequate compensation.
