15.7 ESCAP will pursue that objective by focusing on three thematic priorities:

Recognizes the key role of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in promoting sustainable industrial development and in industrial development cooperation, and welcomes its clear programmatic focus on three thematic priorities, namely, poverty reduction through productive activities, trade capacity-building, and environment and energy;

In the implementation of the strategic framework 20042007, the Institute focused its work on three thematic priorities: (a) gender, migration, remittances and development; (b) gender, governance and women's political participation; and (c) gender, peace and security.
