In the long term, there is reason to bear in mind article 123 of the Statute which states that " Seven years after the entry into force of this Statute, the Secretary-General of the United Nations shall convene a Review Conference to consider any amendments to this Statute.
أما على المدى الطويل، فإنه يمكن استرجاع مضمون المادة 123 من النظام الأساسي التي تنص على أنه " بعد انقضاء سبع سنوات على بدء نفاذ هذا النظام الأساسي، يعقد الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة مؤتمرا استعراضيا للدول الأطراف للنظر في أي تعديلات على هذا النظام الأساسي.
