It therefore appears that the application of a requirement to change a person's status from that of a dual national to that of an alien, by means of denationalization, prior to expulsion is not necessarily in the interest of the expelled person, whose rights the Commission seeks to offer the best possible protection through its work on the issue of the expulsion of aliens.

The Assembly would further request the Special Committee to continue its work on the question of the peaceful settlement of disputes between States, to continue to consider proposals concerning the Trusteeship Council and to continue to consider, on a priority basis, ways and means to improve its working methods and enhance its efficiency.
وتطلب الجمعية العامة أيضا إلى اللجنة الخاصة أن تواصل عملها بشأن مسألة تسويــة المنازعــات بيــن الدول بالوسائل السلمية، وأن تواصل النظـــر في المقترحات المتعلقة بمجلس الوصاية، وأن تواصل النظر، على سبيل اﻷولوية، في سبل ووسائل تحسين أساليب عملها وزيادة فعاليتها.
