The World Bank's submission highlighted that the bank is willing and ready to share its experiences, knowledge products and tools; and to assist LDCs in the NAP process in the future.
40- وألقت ورقة البنك الدولي الضوء على استعداد البنك لتقاسم الخبرات ونتاج المعارف وأدواتها؛ ولمساعدة أقل البلدان نمواً في عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في المستقبل.

100. The SBI expressed its appreciation to the LEG for its work on technical guidance and support to the NAP process for LDCs, and to the Adaptation Committee for its work on considering the modalities for supporting developing country Parties that are not LDCs.
100- وأعربت الهيئة الفرعية عن تقديرها لفريق الخبراء المعني بأقل البلدان نمواً لما قدمه من إرشادات تقنية ودعم إلى عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً، وللجنة التكيف لنظرها في طرائق دعم البلدان الأطراف النامية التي ليست من أقل البلدان نمواً.

(a) Specify the steps it has taken to enable activities for the preparation of the national adaptation plan process in developing country Parties that are not least developed country Parties, as per decision 9/CP.18, paragraph 1(c);

In addition to the workshops, the LEG organized two NAP Expo events in support of the NAP process in LDCs.

95. The SBI noted with appreciation the support provided by multilateral, bilateral and other organizations in support of the NAP process in LDC Parties and other developing country Parties that are not LDCs.

It will include presentations from the LEG on the technical aspects of the formulation of NAPs, presentations from LDC Parties on their plans and needs towards the launching of the NAP process in their countries, and presentations from agencies and organizations on how they intend to support the NAP process in LDCs.

The COP also invited Parties and relevant organizations as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies, to submit, by 13 February 2012, information on the support to the NAP process in the LDCs.
61- ودعا مؤتمر الأطراف أيضاً الأطراف والمنظمات المعنية وكذلك الوكالات الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف إلى أن تقدم إلى الأمانة، في موعد أقصاه 13 شباط/فبراير 2012، معلومات عن الدعم المقدم إلى عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً.

It invited the GEF, as an operating entity of the financial mechanism for the operation of the LDCF, to submit information, by 13 February 2012, on how it could enable activities undertaken as part of the NAP process in the LDCs.
ودعا مرفق البيئة العالمية، بصفته كياناً تشغيلياً للآلية المالية للاتفاقية أُنيط به تشغيل صندوق أقل البلدان نمواًً، إلى أن يقدم، في موعد أقصاه 13 شباط/فبراير 2012، معلومات عن كيف أمكنه تيسير الأنشطة المضطلع بها ضمن عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً.

55. The GEF underlined that it stands ready, together with its agencies, to support the NAP process in the LDCs through the LDCF based on its experience and through its operational modalities.
55- وأكد مرفق البيئة العالمية أنه مستعد، هو والوكالات المنفذة لمشاريعه، لدعم عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً من خلال صندوق أقل البلدان نمواً بالاستناد إلى خبرته وباستخدام طرائقه التنفيذية.

25. The LEG also agreed that the outputs of the NAP process in each country could include, inter alia, progress reports, a plan or planning document that will be published to communicate the priority adaptation needs, policies, programmes and activities for a given national planning period.
25- واتفق فريق الخبراء أيضاً على أن نواتج عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في كل بلد يمكن أن تشمل عناصر منها تقارير مرحلية وخطة أو وثيقة تخطيط تُنشر للإعلام بالاحتياجات والسياسات والبرامج والأنشطة ذات الأولوية في مجال التكيف لمدة معينة في سياق التخطيط الوطني.

(c) A global NAP information system to be designed as a global one-stop information hub about the NAP process in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

It invited Parties and relevant organizations as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies to submit information on support for the NAP process in LDCs;
(ب) دعا أيضاً الأطراف والمنظمات المعنية وكذلك الوكالات الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف إلى أن تقدم معلومات عن الدعم المقدم إلى عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً()؛

It also invited the Global Environment Facility (GEF), as an operating entity of the financial mechanism for the operation of the Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF), to submit information on how they could enable activities undertaken as part of the NAP process in LDCs.

68. Action: The SBI will be invited to consider the relevant documents listed in the annex and to make recommendations on support for the NAP process for LDCs to the COP at its eighteenth session.
68- الإجراء: ستدعى الهيئة الفرعية إلى النظر في الوثائق ذات الصلة الواردة في القائمة المدرجة في المرفق وإلى تقديم توصيات إلى مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته الثامنة عشرة بشأن دعم عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً.

The COP requested the secretariat to prepare a synthesis report on the support for the NAP process for the LDCs, taking into account the above-mentioned submissions and other relevant sources of information, for consideration by the SBI at its thirty-sixth session.
62- وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأمانة أن تعد تقريراً توليفياً عن الدعم المقدم إلى عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في أقل البلدان نمواً، مراعية في ذلك البيانات المشار إليها أعلاه وغيرها من مصادر المعلومات ذات الصلة، لكي تنظر فيه الهيئة الفرعية في دورتها السادسة والثلاثين.

18. Invites national and regional centres and networks to strengthen their programmes and engage in support of the national adaptation plan process in least developed country Parties, at the regional, national and subnational levels, as appropriate, in a manner that is country-driven and that encourages cooperation and coordination between regional stakeholders;
18- يدعو المراكز والشبكات الوطنية والإقليمية إلى أن تعزز برامجها وتشارك في دعم عملية خطط التكيف الوطنية في البلدان الأطراف الأقل نمواً على المستويات الإقليمي والوطني ودون الوطني، حسب الاقتضاء، على نحو يتولى فيه البلد المعني قيادة التنفيذ ويشجِّع التعاون والتنسيق بين أصحاب المصلحة الإقليميين؛

24. Also invites Parties and relevant organizations as well as bilateral and multilateral agencies, to submit to the secretariat, by 13 February 2012, information on support to the national adaptation plan process in least developed countries;

81. Participants emphasized the need for incorporate linkages in the NAP process as part of the modalities to improve the visibility of the NAP process at the national and international levels and hence to encourage and facilitate coherence in support.
