3. Under decision 9/COP.6, the programme of work of the third session of the CRIC must include a review of the reports submitted by affected African country parties.

Invites the secretariat to refer to the areas of strategic action defined in the Declaration when determining the themes for the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought for the period covered by the Declaration, and to include some of these thematic areas in the programme of work of the third session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention;

In decision 9/COP.6, the Conference of the Parties decided that the programme of work of the third session of the CRIC should include a review of the implementation of the Convention in affected African country Parties structured around the main thematic issues mentioned in decision 1/COP.5.
وفي المقرر 9/م أ-6 قرر مؤتمر الأطراف تكريس برنامج عمل الدورة الثالثة لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية حصراً للبحث في تنفيذ الاتفاقية في البلدان الأفريقية المتأثرة الذي يركز على المسائل الموضوعية الرئيسية المشار إليها في المقرر 1/م أ-5.

4. Decision 9/COP.6 on the programme of work of the third session of the CRIC states that the Committee shall review the information provided by relevant organs, funds and programmes of the United Nations system, as well as other IGOs and NGOs, on their activities in support of the implementation of the Convention in affected African country Parties.
4- وينص المقرر 9/م أ-6 بشأن برنامج عمل الدورة الثالثة للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية على أن تستعرض اللجنة المعلومات المقدمة من الهيئات والصناديق والبرامج ذات الصلة في منظومة الأمم المتحدة، فضلاً عن المنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية الأخرى، بشأن أنشطتها المضطلع بها دعماً لتنفيذ الاتفاقية في الأطراف من البلدان الأفريقية المتأثرة.

According to decision 9/COP.6, the programme of work of the third session of the CRIC also includes an item on " Consideration of necessary adjustments to the elaboration process and the implementation of action programmes, including review of the enhanced implementation of the obligations of the Convention " .
وبموجب أحكام المقرر 9/م أ-6، يتضمن برنامج عمل الدورة الثالثة للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية بنداً أيضاً بشأن " النظر في التعديلات اللازم إدخالها على عملية وضع برامج العمل وتنفيذها، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالتشديد على احترام الالتزامات المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية " .

In decision 9/COP.6 on the programme of work of the third session on the CRIC, the COP decided that the committee would review information provided by relevant organs, funds and programmes of the United Nations system, as well as other intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, on their activities in support of the implementation of the Convention in affected African country Parties.
