More information is needed on actions related to funding, insurance and the transfer of technology to meet the needs and concerns arising from the adverse effects of climate change and/or the impact of the implementation of response measures.
13- ويلزم توفير المزيد من المعلومات عن الإجراءات المتصلة بالتمويل والتأمين ونقل التكنولوجيا لتلبية الاحتياجات والاهتمامات الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ و/أو أثر تنفيذ تدابير الاستجابة.

An international mechanism to address the unavoidable loss and damage from the adverse effects of climate change [and the impact of the implementation of response measures] is hereby established.
17- تُنشأ بموجب هذا آلية دولية للتصدي للخسائر والأضرار التي لا يمكن تفاديها الناجمة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ [وتأثير تنفيذ تدابير التصدي]؛

1. The Parties shall, based on scientific and technological knowledge, give full consideration to necessary actions to meet the urgent needs and concerns of developing country Parties arising from the adverse effects of climate change.
1- تولي الأطراف، استناداً إلى المعارف العلمية والتكنولوجية، الاعتبار الكامل للإجراءات اللازمة للوفاء بالاحتياجات والشواغل العاجلة للبلدان الأطراف النامية الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ.

It is recalled that the Convention has called upon the Parties to give full consideration to actions under the Convention to meet the specific needs and concerns of developing country Parties arising from the adverse effects of climate change, and the impact of the implementation of response measures.
14- يجدر بالتذكير أن الاتفاقية طلبت إلى الأطراف أن تولي الاهتمام الكامل لاتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات بموجب الاتفاقية لتلبية الاحتياجات والاهتمامات المحددة للبلدان النامية الأطراف الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ وأثر تنفيذ تدابير الاستجابة.

Some participants stressed the need for the identification and analysis of initial actions to meet the specific needs and concerns of developing country Parties arising from the adverse effects of climate change and the impact of the implementation of response measures, including information on the possibility of using insurance and other appropriate mechanisms.
16- وشدد بعض المشاركين على ضرورة تحديد وتحليل الإجراءات الأولية التي يلزم اتخاذها لتلبية الاحتياجات والاهتمامات المحددة للبلدان النامية الأطراف الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ وأثر تنفيذ تدابير الاستجابة، بما في ذلك المعلومات المتعلقة بإمكانية استخدام التأمين وغيره من الآليات المناسبة.

The specific needs and concerns of developing country Parties arising from the adverse effects of climate change and the impact of the implementation of response measures should be given full consideration;
(ز) ينبغي إيلاء اعتبار كامل للاحتياجات الخاصة بالبلدان النامية الأطراف ولشواغلها الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ وعن أثر تنفيذ تدابير الاستجابة؛

2. To consider, at its eighth session, the implementation of insurance-related actions to meet the specific needs and concerns of developing country Parties arising from the adverse effects of climate change, based on the outcome of workshops on insurance.
2- أن ينظر، في دورته الثامنة، في تنفيذ التدابير المتصلة بالتأمين للوفاء بالاحتياجات المحددة للبلدان النامية الأطراف والاستجابة لشواغلها الناشئة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ وذلك بالاستناد إلى نتائج حلقات العمل المكرسة للتأمين.

The group therefore decided to develop a training manual for conducting national workshops on ranking and prioritization, and another for conducting national workshops on synthesis of available information on the adverse effects of climate change.
12- ولذلك فقد قرر فريق الخبراء أن يعد كتيباً تدريبياً خاصاً بعقد حلقات العمل الوطنية بشأن ترتيب الأنشطة والمشاريع وتحديد الأولويات، وكتيباً تدريبياً آخر خاصاً بعقد حلقات العمل الوطنية بشأن توليف المعلومات المتاحة عن الآثار الضارة لتغير المناخ.

To synthesize available information on adverse effects of climate change and coping strategies, which would be collated and reviewed, including the national strategies for sustainable development, the Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries, the United Nations development assistance frameworks, and poverty reduction strategy papers, if available in the countries;
