Others said that the adoption of mercuryfree technologies and phase-out of mercury would lead to increases in mercury waste, in particular in the chlor-alkali industry.
وقال آخر إن تبني التكنولوجيات غير القائمة على استخدام الزئبق والاستغناء تدريجياً عن الزئبق من شأنه أن يؤدي إلى حدوث زيادات في نفايات الزئبق، وخصوصاً في صناعة إنتاج الكلور والقلويات.

23. Since all mercury emitted to air from waste incineration originates from mercury in the waste, the most important primary measure is to reduce the input of mercury to the incinerator.
