In its resolutions 2004/28 of 21 July 2004 and 2006/20 of 27 July 2006, the Council requested the SecretaryGeneral to convene a meeting of intergovernmental experts to design an information-gathering instrument on standards and norms related primarily to crime prevention.
وطَلَب المجلس، في قراريه 2004/28 المؤرخ 21 تموز/يوليه 2004 و2006/20 المؤرخ 27 تموز/يوليه 2006، إلى الأمين العام أن يدعو إلى عقد اجتماع لفريق خبراء حكومي دولي بغية تصميم أدلة لجمع المعلومات عن المعايير والقواعد المتعلقة أساسا بمنع الجريمة.

Pursuant to Council resolutions 2004/28 and 2006/20 and thanks to the financial contribution of the Government of Canada, the Intergovernmental Expert Group Meeting on Crime Prevention was held in Vienna from 20 to 22 March 2006 to develop a questionnaire on standards and norms primarily related to crime prevention.

In addition, pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2004/28 of 21 July 2004, an Intergovernmental Expert Group Meeting to develop an information-gathering instrument on standards and norms related primarily to crime prevention was organized in Vienna from 20 to 22 March 2006 (see E/CN.15/2006/CRP.1).

Financing of an intergovernmental expert group to design information-gathering instruments on standards and norms related to legal, institutional and practical arrangements for international cooperation and standards and norms related primarily to crime prevention and victim issues had not been secured at the time of writing.
6- ولم يضمن، حتى وقت كتابة هذا التقرير، تمويل فريق خبراء حكومي دولي لتصميم الأدوات الخاصة بجمع المعلومات عن المعايير والقواعد المتعلقة بالترتيبات القانونية والمؤسسية والعملية للتعاون الدولي والمعايير والقواعد المتعلقة أساسا بمسائل منع الجريمة والمسائل الخاصة بالضحايا.

Proposals to the twelfth session of the Commission on a revised mechanism for reporting on standards and norms and minimizing the reporting burden on Member States should reflect and incorporate any related proposals made as a follow-up to the related suggestions of the Executive Director to the Commission at its tenth session.
وينبغي أن تعكس المقترحات المقدمة إلى الدورة الثانية عشرة للجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية بشأن أي آلية منقحة للإبلاغ عن المعايير والقواعد وتخفيف عبء الإبلاغ عن كاهل الدول الأعضاء إلى الحد الأدنى، أي اقتراحات متصلة بذلك تقدم كمتابعة للمقترحات ذات الصلة للمدير التنفيذي إلى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في دورتها العاشرة، وأن تدمج في هذه الاقتراحات.
