Such procedures and mechanisms shall be based on those established pursuant to Article 18 of the Kyoto Protocol, including related decisions of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, in order to address cases of non-compliance, and shall be strengthened.

That the adaptation fund shall be operated and managed by an entity which operates the financial mechanism of the Convention, under the guidance of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, with guidance to be provided by the Conference of the Parties in the period prior to entry into force of the Kyoto Protocol;
4- أن يُشغل صندوق التكيف ويُدار من جانب الكيان الذي يتولى تشغيل الآلية المالية للاتفاقية، في ظل التوجيه الصادر عن مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو، وذلك بتوجيه سيسديه مؤتمر الأطراف في الفترة السابقة على بدء نفاذ بروتوكول كيوتو؛

[Also decides that any body authorized to carry out executive functions on behalf of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol shall have a membership that reflects the unique representational balance established by the practice of the Parties (such as the Bureau of the Conference of the Parties)];
5 - [يقرر أيضاً أن تكون لاي هيئة مفوضة بالقيام بوظائف تنفيذية نيابة عن مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه إجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو، عضوية التوازن الفريد في التمثيل الذي ارسته الأطراف عبر ممارستها [مثل مكتب مؤتمر الأطراف]؛

Decides that the Adaptation Fund shall have a trustee that shall have fiduciary responsibility and the administrative competence to manage the Adaptation Fund, and shall comply with principles and modalities for operations stipulated in relevant decisions of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol;
20- يقرر أن يكون لصندوق التكيف قيم ينهض بالمسؤولية الائتمانية والاختصاص الإداري لإدارة صندوق التكيف، ويمتثل للمبادئ وطرائق العمليات المنصوص عليها في المقررات ذات الصلة الصادرة عن مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في بروتوكول كيوتو؛

18 bis. In accordance with paragraph 1 above, the procedures and mechanisms relating to compliance under this Protocol adopted by decision 27/CMP.1 of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to this protocol shall apply.
المادة 18 مكرراً - وفقاً للفقرة 1 أعلاه، تنطبق الإجراءات والآليات المتصلة بالامتثال لهذا البروتوكول والمعتمدة بموجب المقرر 27/م أإ-1 الصادر عن مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه اجتماع الأطراف في هذا البروتوكول.
