The Plan of Action contains sections on demand reduction and related measures; on supply reduction and related measures; and on countering money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation to enhance international cooperation.

In the Statement, the ministers and government representatives participating in the high-level segment acknowledged the progress made by Member States, while underscoring that both the persistent and new challenges related to drug demand and supply reduction and to countering money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation remained a common and shared responsibility.
وفي هذا البيان، أقرَّ الوزراء وممثلو الحكومات المشاركون في الجزء الرفيع المستوى بالتقدم الذي أحرزته الدول الأعضاء، وأكدوا على أن كلا من التحديات المستمرة والجديدة المتعلقة بخفض الطلب على المخدِّرات وعرضها، وبمكافحة غسل الأموال وتعزيز التعاون القضائي تظل مسؤولية عامة ومشتركة.

It is recalled that delegations were requested in a note verbale dated 28 May 2014 to include in their written reports on the illicit drug trafficking situation in their countries and their Government's regional and subregional cooperation efforts, information on demand reduction and international cooperation on countering money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation.
ويذكر أنه طُلب من الوفود في مذكرة شفوية مؤرَّخة 28 أيار/مايو 2014 أن تدرج في تقاريرها المكتوبة المتعلقة بوضع الاتجار غير المشروع في بلدانها والجهود التي تبذلها حكوماتها في مجال التعاون الإقليمي ودون الإقليمي معلومات بشأن خفض الطلب والتعاون الدولي على مكافحة غسل الأموال وتعزيز التعاون القضائي.

In that connection, delegations were requested in a note verbale dated 2 July 2013 to include, in their written reports on the illicit drug trafficking situation in their countries and their Government's regional and subregional cooperation efforts, information on demand reduction and international cooperation on countering money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation.
وفي هذا الصدد، طُلب من الوفود في مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 2 تموز/يوليه 2013 إدراج معلومات بشأن خفض الطلب والتعاون الدولي على مكافحة غسل الأموال وتعزيز التعاون القضائي في تقاريرها المكتوبة بشأن وضع الاتجار غير المشروع في بلدانها وجهود الحكومات المتعلقة بالتعاون الإقليمي ودون الإقليمي.

Attention was drawn in particular to the sections of the Political Declaration and of the Plan of Action relating to supply reduction and related measures, including those on enhancing cooperation, coordination and law enforcement operations to reduce supply, addressing new trafficking trends, addressing supply and demand reduction together, combating money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation.
واستُرعي الانتباه بصفة خاصة إلى الأقسام المتعلقة بخفض عرض المخدرات وما يتصل بذلك من تدابير في الإعلان السياسي وخطة العمل، بما في ذلك التدابير المتعلقة بعزيز التعاون والتنسيق وعمليات إنفاذ القوانين للحد من العرض من خلال التصدي للاتجاهات الجديدة في الاتجار بالمخدرات والتصدي لخفض العرض والطلب معا ومكافحة غسل الأموال وتعزيز التعاون القضائي.

Some delegations stressed the importance of the input of the Subcommission for the special session of the General Assembly to be held in 2016 and suggested that the working groups should focus on topics based on the three pillars of the Plan of Action, namely demand reduction and related measures, supply reduction and related measures and countering money-laundering and promoting judicial cooperation to enhance international cooperation.
38- وشدَّدت بعض الوفود على أهمية إسهام اللجنة الفرعية في الدورة الاستثنائية للجمعية العامة المزمع عقدها في عام 2016 واقترحت أن تركز الأفرقة العاملة على مواضيع قائمة على الدعائم الثلاث لخطة العمل، أي خفض الطلب والتدابير ذات الصلة وخفض العرض والتدابير ذات الصلة ومكافحة غسل الأموال وتعزيز التعاون القضائي من أجل توثيق التعاون الدولي.
