Following the presentation by the Special Representative, the Permanent Representative of Nepal, Ambassador Gyan Chandra Acharya, stated that the Mission had been a positive factor in the difficult context of the peace process and expressed sincere appreciation for its dedication and contributions.

Following the Special Representative's presentation, the Permanent Representative of Nepal, Ambassador Gyan Chandra Acharya, thanked the United Nations for supporting his country's peace process, but said that the latest report of the Secretary-General could have been more balanced to better reflect the situation on the ground.
