Mrs. Fritsche (Liechtenstein), speaking on behalf of the sponsors, said that the draft decision would enable the delegations concerned to resume their consideration of the very important sub-item at the next session, and expressed regret that some delegations failed to recognize the need for further discussion on the subject.

11. Ms. Fritsche (Liechtenstein) said that her Government fully supported the international community's efforts to combat transnational organized crime, particularly trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants, corruption and financial crime.
11 - السيدة فريتشي (ليختنشتاين): قالت إن حكومة بلدها تؤيد تأييداً كاملاً جهود المجتمع الدولي لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الحدود الوطنية، لا سيما الاتجار بالبشر، وتهريب المهاجرين، والفساد، والجريمة المالية.

Mrs. Fritsche (Liechtenstein): I would like, first of all, to reiterate the feelings of deepest sympathy and compassion which the Government of Liechtenstein has already conveyed to our host country, the United States of America, and, in particular, to the victims of the horrendous attacks on 11 September.

Mrs. Fritsche (Liechtenstein) said that, for Liechtenstein, which had been a Member of the United Nations since 1990 and would soon become a party to the six core international human rights instruments, the work of the Organization had served as a catalyst for the promotion and protection of human rights.
