Introducing the sub-item, the Co-Chair recalled that pursuant to decision XVII/6, the Openended Working Group at its twenty-seventh meeting had heard reports from the Executive Committee of the Multilateral Fund and from the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel on various process-agent-related matters.

The Panel, however, was not able to complete its report in 2005 and suggested that the report would be ready for consideration in 2006.
