83. Ms. Escobar Pacas (El Salvador), speaking on the topic of expulsion of aliens, said that her delegation attached great importance to maintaining a meaningful dialogue between the Sixth Committee and the International Law Commission regarding the Commission's work at all of its sessions.

Referring to agenda item 9, she said her delegation objected to recommendations 4 and 15 of the report contained in document IDB.31/4, particularly recommendation 15, as it was up to Member States to decide when they would take on programmes and set up joint offices.
