44. Within the framework of the good offices of the Secretary-General, the Special Adviser, Vijay Nambiar, visited the country in June 2012 at the Government's invitation to gather first-hand information on the situation in Rakhine State.

3. At the request and on behalf of the Secretary-General, Vijay Nambiar has continued to act as Special Adviser in the implementation of the good offices mandate for Myanmar since 1 January 2010, including by engaging with all concerned stakeholders within and outside the country.
3 - وبناء على طلب الأمين العام وبالنيابة عنه، واصل فيجاي نامبيار العمل بوصفه مستشارا خاصا في تنفيذ ولاية المساعي الحميدة لميانمار منذ 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2010، بسبل شملت إشراك جميع أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين داخل البلد وخارجها.

81. The Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Myanmar, Mr. Vijay Nambiar, has been able to continue the Secretary-General's good offices dialogue through his visits on 27 and 28 November 2010 and from 11 to 13 May 2011.
