The ICJ, ITLOS and other entities have been conferred a role in the settlement of disputes concerning the interpretation or application of the Convention.
إن محكمة العدل الدولية والمحكمة الدولية لقانون البحار وكيانات أخرى قد مُنحت دورا في تسوية المنازعات فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق الاتفاقية.

In the event of a dispute between the Parties concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement, the Parties shall consult each other with a view to resolving the dispute through negotiation, investigation, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, judicial proceedings or other peaceful means of their own choosing.

1. In the event of a dispute between any two or more Parties concerning the interpretation or application of the present Protocol, the Parties concerned shall seek a settlement of the dispute through negotiation or any other peaceful means of their own choice.
١- في حالة قيام خلاف بين أي طرفين أو أكثر فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق هذا البروتوكول، تسعى اﻷطراف المعنية إلى تسوية الخلاف عن طريق التفاوض أو أي وسيلة سلمية أخرى تختارها.

However, where Cambodian law did not deal with a question, or where there was uncertainty regarding the interpretation or application of a relevant rule of Cambodian law, or where there was a question regarding the consistency of such a rule with international standards, it would be possible to seek guidance in relevant procedural rules that have been established at the international level.
بيــد أنـه يجوز الاسترشاد بالقواعد الإجرائية التي تـم إرساؤها على المستوى الدولي في حالة عدم تعرض القانون الكمبودي لمسألة معينة، أو عندما يكون هناك شك فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق قاعدة ذات صلة من قواعد القانون الكمبودي، أو إذا كان هناك تساؤل يتعلق باتساق هذه القاعدة مع المعايير الدولية.

Iraq also enters a reservation to article 29, paragraph 1, of this Convention with regard to the principle of international arbitration in connection with the interpretation or application of this Convention.

1. Parties shall settle any dispute between them concerning the interpretation or application of the Convention through negotiation or other peaceful means of their own choice.
١- تقوم اﻷطراف بتسوية أي نزاع بينها فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق الاتفاقية عن طريق التفاوض أو غير ذلك من الوسائل السلمية التي تختارها.

1. Parties shall settle any dispute between them concerning the interpretation or application of the Convention through negotiation or other peaceful means of their own choice.
١ - تقوم اﻷطراف بتسوية أي نزاع بينها فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق الاتفاقية عن طريق التفاوض أو غير ذلك من الوسائل السلمية التي تختارها.

It advances the principle of the peaceful settlement of disputes, endorses all the peaceful means clearly listed in Article 33, paragraph 1, of the United Nations Charter and provides for a mandatory system to be applied by States parties to settle any dispute between them concerning the interpretation or application of the Convention.
وهي تشجع مبدأ التسوية السلمية للمنازعات وتؤيد بوضوح جميع الوسائل السلمية الواردة بوضوح في الفقرة 1 من المادة 33 من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة. وتنص الاتفاقية على نظام إلزامي تعمل على تطبيقه الدول الأطراف لتسوية أي منازعات بينها فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق الاتفاقية.

١ - إذا نشأ أي نزاع بين اثنتين أو أكثر من الدول اﻷطراف فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية وتعذرت تسويته عن طريق التفاوض في غضون فترة زمنية معقولة، يحال ذلك النزاع، بناء على طلب إحدى تلك الدول، إلى التحكيم.

Where Cambodian law does not deal with a particular matter, or where there is uncertainty regarding the interpretation or application of a relevant rule of Cambodian law, or where there is a question regarding the consistency of such a rule with international standards, guidance may also be sought in procedural rules established at the international level.
وفي حالة عدم تعرض القانون الكمبودي لمسألة معينة، أو عندما يكون هناك شك فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق قاعدة ذات صلة في القانون الكمبودي، أو إذا كان هناك تساؤل يتعلق باتساق هذه القاعدة مع المعايير الدولية، يجوز أيضا الاسترشاد بالقواعد الإجرائية المنشأة على المستوى الدولي.

At the same time, where Cambodian law does not deal with a particular matter, or where there is uncertainty regarding the interpretation or application of a relevant rule of Cambodian law, or where there is a question regarding the consistency of such a rule with international standards, the Extraordinary Chambers should be able to look to relevant international rules for guidance;

In determining any question which has arisen in connection with the interpretation or application of any of the provisions of Chapter 1 of the Constitution, every court must take into account any relevant opinions or decisions of the European Commission of Human Rights and Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and any relevant jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the superior courts of the United Kingdom.
100- وعند تحديد أي مسألة تنشأ فيما يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق أي من أحكام الفصل الأول من الدستور، يجب على كل محكمة أن تأخذ في الاعتبار الآراء أو القرارات ذات الصلة للجنة الأوروبية لحقوق الإنسان ولجنة الوزراء لمجلس أوروبا، وأي من الاجتهادات القضائية ذات الصلة للمحكمة الأوروبية لحقوق الإنسان والمحاكم العليا في المملكة المتحدة.
