٣ - تنتهي بعد انقضاء ثلاث سنوات عضوية ستة من الأعضاء المنتخبين في أول انتخاب بعد زيادة عدد أعضاء الهيئة من 11 عضوا إلى 13 عضوا، وتنتهي مدد عضوية الأعضاء السبعة الآخرين بعد انقضاء خمس سنوات.

وأشيرَِ إلى أنه وفقا للنظام المتفق عليه المتعلق بتوزيع المقاعد بين المجموعات الإقليمية في أول انتخاب للمجلس، تقرر أن تشارك أنغولا، باسم مجموعة الدول الأفريقية، في جلسات المجلس في عام 2011 دون أن يكون لها الحق في التصويت.

It is recalled that, at the first election of the members of the Commission in August 1996, the Council decided to increase the number of seats on the Commission from 15 to 22 without prejudice to future elections to the Commission.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المجلس قرر في أول انتخاب لأعضاء اللجنة في آب/أغسطس 1996، أن يزيد عدد المقاعد في اللجنة من 15 إلى 22 مقعداً دون المساس بالانتخابات لعضوية اللجنة في المستقبل.

وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن المجلس قرر في أول انتخاب لأعضاء اللجنة في آب/أغسطس 1996، أثناء الدورة الثانية المستأنفة، أن يزيد عدد المقاعد في اللجنة من 15 إلى 22 دون المساس بالانتخابات لعضوية اللجنة في المستقبل.

However, Article 13, paragraph 1, also provides that of the members " elected at the first election, the terms of five judges shall expire at the end of three years and the terms of five more judges shall expire at the end of six years " .
إلا أن الفقرة 1 من المادة 13 تنص أيضا على أن " خمسة من القضاة الذين وقع عليهم الاختيار في أول انتخاب للمحكمة، يجب أن تنتهي بعد مضي ثلاث سنوات، وولاية خمسة آخرين بعد ست سنوات " .
