Recalling that the Global Jobs Pact, which demonstrates linkages among social progress, economic development and the response to the crisis, states that action must be guided by the decent work agenda and by commitments made by the International Labour Organization and its constituents in the International Labour Organization Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization,

33. A number of international labour conventions and recommendations, in addition to the fundamental conventions contained in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and its follow-up (1998), serve as drivers for social and economic development.
