In decision 2008/1, the Executive Board granted the Administrator the authority to access up to $10.2 million for 2008-2009, with the use of the funds limited to new and emerging security mandates, as defined in the directives of UNDSS, and with UNDP to report to the Executive Board on the use of the funds in its annual review of the financial situation.

2. in his annual review of the financial situation, 1992 (DP/1993/44 and Add.1-3), the Administrator called attention to the serious situation that had developed with respect to the failure of voluntary contributions to reach previously anticipated growth levels, and the consequent need to reduce indicative planning figure (IPF) target levels.
٢ - ولقد قام مدير البرنامج، في استعراضه السنوي للحالة المالية في عام ١٩٩٢ DP/1993/44) و (Add.1، بلفت الانتباه الى الحالة الخطيرة التي قد سادت فيما يتصل بعدم وصول التبرعات الى مستويات النمو التي كانت متوقعة، وما يترتب على هذا من ضرورة تخفيض المستويات المستهدفة ﻷرقام التخطيط اﻹرشادية.

11. In his report on the programming cycles (DP/1992/22) as well as in his annual review of the financial situation for 1991 (DP/1992/38), the Administrator reported to the Governing Council at its thirty-ninth session that it had become apparent at that time that the target for annual increases in contributions of 8 per cent assumed in decision 90/34 was unlikely to be achieved.
