7.5 With regard to the State party's claim that the communication is incompatible with the provisions of the Covenant, the Committee recalled that the Optional Protocol provides for a procedure under which individuals can claim that their rights set out in Part III of the Covenant, article 6 to 27 inclusive, have been violated.

10- وإذ تلاحظ اللجنة استمرار عادات وتقاليد تلحق الأذى بالنساء والأطفال وكبار السن، فهي ترى أن الدولة تملك من السلطة ما يمكنها من تنفيذ الحقوق الواردة في الجزء الثاني من العهد فورا وعلى الوجه المطلوب، والوفاء بالحد الأدنى من التزاماتها من أجل إعمال تلك الحقوق تدريجيا كما وردت في الجزء الثالث من العهد.
