210. Under Jordanian law, children are protected from exploitation in forced labour. Article 77 of the Jordanian Labour Code (Act No. 8 of 1996, as amended) provides that:
210- من جهة أخرى مُنح الطفل من خلال التشريعات الأردنية الحماية من الاستغلال في العمل القسري حيث نصت المادة 77 من قانون العمل وتعديلاته رقم 8 لسنة 1996 على أنه: " (ب).

(c) Children offered, delivered, accepted by whatever means for the purpose of prostitution, engagement in forced labour, illegal adoptions, organ transfer, pornography or marriage; and
(ج) عدد الأطفال الذين عُرضوا أو سُلّموا أو قُبلوا بأي وسيلة كانت لأغراض الاستغلال في البغاء أو الزج في العمل القسري أو التبني غير المشروع أو نقل الأعضاء أو الاستغلال في المواد الإباحية أو الزواج؛

The Committee is still particularly concerned that the engagement of a child in forced labour and the improper inducing of consent for the adoption of a child are not covered under the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ibid.).

35. The Committee, reiterating its previous concern at the high prevalence and social acceptance of child labour and at the fact that many child labourers are vulnerable to abuse, and completely lack protection, is also concerned that the engagement of a child in forced labour is not explicitly addressed in national law.
35- وتكرر اللجنة الإعراب عن قلقها الذي أبدته سابقاً إزاء الانتشار الواسع لعمل الأطفال وقبوله اجتماعياً وإزاء تعرض كثير من الأطفال العاملين للاعتداء والغياب الكامل لأية حماية لهم، وعن قلقها أيضاً لأن تشغيل الأطفال في العمل القسري لا يعالج صراحة في القانون الوطني.

29. The Committee is concerned that all crimes under the Optional Protocol are not fully criminalized in accordance with articles 2 and 3 of the Optional Protocol, including, inter alia, sale for the purpose of transfer of organs for profit and engagement in forced labour.
