The Committee notes that the rate for international staff is lower than that reported in the financial performance report for the period 1 July 1999 to 30 June 2000 (A/55/739), which was 10 per cent.

1. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions has considered the financial performance report of the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic and Chad (MINURCAT) for the period from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011 and, where appropriate, has made observations and recommendations below.

As stated in the financial performance report for the period from 10 December 1994 to 9 June 1995, the payment for these supplies was brought forward to the mandate period beginning on 10 June 1995.

5. As indicated in the financial performance report (see A/56/763, para. 14 and table 2), expenditure for the period totalled $383,462,000 gross ($360,687,000 net), inclusive of $63,237,200 in unliquidated obligations.

39. As stated in the financial performance report of the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) for the period from 1 July 2000 to 30 June 2001 (A/56/833), the total resources provided by the General Assembly for the operation and maintenance of the Mission had amounted to $577.7 million.

33. Introducing the Advisory Committee report on the financing of UNOMIG (A/65/743/Add.1), he said that the four-month process of liquidation of the Mission's assets had been completed on 31 October 2009. The Advisory Committee recommended acceptance of the course of action proposed by the Secretary-General in the financial performance report (A/65/681).

The Advisory Committee considered the financial performance report of the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR), the United Nations Confidence Restoration Operation in Croatia (UNCRO), UNPREDEP and the United Nations Peace Forces headquarters for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2000 (A/55/840).

Pending its consideration of the financial performance report for the period 1 June to 30 September 1994, the Advisory Committee does not recommend that this additional amount be assessed at the present time.

The Committee accordingly had no objection to that one-off ad hoc arrangement and requested that such utilization should be detailed in the performance report for UNAMA for 2010.
