The Special Committee emphasizes that the lessons learned through past United Nations-African Union collaboration on peacekeeping must be noted for future cooperation, based on the recommendations contained in section V.B of the report of the Secretary-General on United Nations-African Union cooperation in peace and security (S/2011/805).
