85. More generally, section 1.6 of UNMIK Regulation No. 2001/19 mandates ministries to draft legislative and other acts, make policy recommendations and implement legislation in force within their areas of competence.
85- وبصورة أعم، تلتزم الوزارات بموجب المادة 1-6 من لائحة الأمم المتحدة رقم 2001/19، بإعداد مشاريع القوانين وغيرها من المراسيم، ووضع توصيات السياسة العامة وتطبيق القوانين النافذة في مجالات اختصاصاتها.

2. Regional arrangements or agencies can, in their fields of competence and in accordance with the Charter, make important contributions to the maintenance of international peace and security, including, where appropriate, through the peaceful settlement of disputes, preventive diplomacy, peacemaking, peace-keeping and post-conflict peace-building;
٢ - يمكن للتنظيمات أو الوكالات اﻹقليمية أن تقدم في مجالات اختصاصاتها ووفقا للميـثاق إسهامات كبيرة في صون السلم واﻷمن الدوليين، بما في ذلك، عند الاقتضاء، سلوك سبيل التسوية السلمية للمنازعات، والدبلوماسية الوقائية، وصنع السلم، وحفظ السلم، وبناء السلم بعد انتهاء الصراع؛

As outlined above, the EOC is responsible for the implementation of four anti-discrimination ordinances in the HKSAR and promotion of equal opportunities in the respective areas.
