This requires the application of effective and economical forms of multifaceted international cooperation (in particular in environmental monitoring and early warning of natural disasters such as tsunamis), which is ultimately aimed at the development of national space facilities and their integration into a single global remote sensing system.
ويتطلب هذا استخدام أشكال فعّالة واقتصادية للتعاون الدولي المتعدد الأوجه (لا سيما في مجال الرصد البيئي والانذار المبكر بالكوارث الطبيعية مثل التسونامي)، الذي يهدف في نهاية الأمر إلى استحداث مرافق فضائية وطنية ودمجها في نظام عالمي وحيد للاستشعار عن بعد.

(a) Participation in the European Commission project “Computer-aided system for tele-interactive learning in environmental monitoring” with regard to the development of training programmes on the use of remote sensing and GIS technologies in coastal zone management on CD-ROM;
)أ( المشاركة في مشروع المفوضية اﻷوروبية المعنون " النظام المدعم بالحاسوب للتعلم التفاعلي عن بعد في مجال الرصد البيئي " فيما يتعلق باعداد البرامج التدريبية بشأن استخدام تكنولوجيات الاستشعار عن بعد ونظام المعلومات الجغرافية في ادارة المناطق الساحلية ، على قرص " سي دي - روم " ؛

" 1. Invites Governments, and relevant organizations of the United Nations system, within their respective mandates, and other relevant entities to review, as appropriate, their contribution to international cooperation in environmental monitoring, including remote sensing and evaluation from outer space, and provide appropriate support for such activities within existing resources;
