2. Reaffirms that capacity-building in science and technology in developing countries should remain a priority issue in the United Nations agenda, and urges that international cooperation efforts be intensified and strengthened towards developing countries' endogenous capacity-building in science and technology, including their capacity to utilize scientific and technological developments from abroad and to adapt them to suit local conditions;
٢ - تعيد تأكيد أن بناء القدرات في مجال العلم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان النامية ينبغي أن يظل مسألة ذات أولوية في جدول أعمال اﻷمم المتحدة، وتحث على مضاعفة جهود التعاون الدولي وتعزيزها تجاه بناء القدرات الذاتية للبلدان النامية في مجـال العلم والتكنولوجيـا، بما في ذلك القدرة على الاستفادة بالتطورات العلمية والتكنولوجيـة اﻵتية مـن الخارج وتكييفها بحيث تلائم الظروف المحلية؛

76. To help developing countries build capabilities in those areas, based on a recommendation of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, UNCTAD will set up a network of centres of excellence on science and technology in developing countries.
76 - ومن أجل مساعدة البلدان النامية على بناء القدرات في تلك المجالات، سيقيم الأونكتاد، بناء على توصية مركز تسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية، شبكة لمراكز الخبرة الرفيعة في مجال العلم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان النامية.

To help developing countries build R & D capabilities, especially in such fields such as agricultural production, telecommunication and public health, in 2005, UNCTAD and CSTD launched a network of centres of excellence on science and technology in developing countries.
63- أطلق الأونكتاد واللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية في عام 2005 شبكة من مراكز الامتياز في مجال العلم والتكنولوجيا في البلدان النامية لمساعدتها على بناء القدرات في حقل البحث والتطوير، لا سيما في مجالات مثل الإنتاج الزراعي والاتصالات والصحة العامة.
