٤٣- وفي الاعلان السياسي الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة في دورتها الاستثنائية العشرين، تعهدت الدول اﻷعضاء بتحقيق نتائج ملموسة وقابلة للقياس في ميدان خفض الطلب بحلول سنة ٨٠٠٢.

UNDCP gave particular attention to assisting Governments in improving judicial cooperation in countering the world drug problem, in particular by providing training to law enforcement personnel, national administrations, judges, magistrates and prosecutors, as well as personnel working in the field of demand reduction.
وقد أولى اليوندسيب اهتماما خاصا لتقديم المساعدة الى الحكومات في تحسين التعاون القضائي على مواجهة مشكلة المخدرات العالمية، وخصوصا في توفير التدريب الى موظفي انفاذ القوانين، والادارات الوطنية، والقضاة، وحكام الصلح، وأعضاء النيابة العامة، وكذلك الى الموظفين العاملين في ميدان خفض الطلب.

In this regard, training was provided to law enforcement personnel, national administrators, judges, magistrates and prosecutors, as well as personnel involved in the field of demand reduction.
