Mrs. EVATT suggested that the phrase in paragraph 10 that read: " a reservation that seeks to preclude this would be contrary to the object and purpose of the First Optional Protocol " should be revised to read " a reservation ... would appear to be contrary ... " , in line with the formulation used in the final sentence ( " Such reservations appear to be incompatible ... " ).
