37. The representative of Iraq requested that his reservations on the reference in the Pax Christi International report to the region " Kurdistan " be placed on record.
٣٧ - وطلب ممثل العراق بأن تدرج في السجلات تحفظاته على الاشارة الواردة في تقرير منظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( المتعلقة بإقليم " كردستان " .

The delegation of Iraq was of the view that, in accordance with paragraph 36 (b) of Council resolution 1296 (XLIV), the consultative status of Pax Christi International should be temporarily suspended.
ويرى وفد العراق ضرورة تعليق المركز الاستشاري لمنظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( بصورة مؤقتة وفقا للفقرة ٣٦ )ب( من قرار المجلس ١٢٩٦ )د - ٤٤(.

ونشرت الحركة رسالة مفتوحة بعنوان " باكس كريستي الدولية تدعو إلى اتباع نهج أخلاقي فيما يتعلق بالأسلحة البيولوجية " ، وذلك في إطار الأنشطة التي تقوم بها لكسب التأييد لدى الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأسلحة البيولوجية والسمية بمناسبة اجتماعها في جنيف خلال الفترة من 6 إلى 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2004.

38. The observer for China stated that the mention by Pax Christi International in its report of the right to self-determination of Tibet was tantamount to an attempt to divide a sovereign State and was thus contrary to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations as well as to the spirit of Economic and Social Council resolution 1296 (XLIV).
٣٨ - وذكر المراقب عن الصين أن إشارة منظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( في تقريرها عن حق تقرير المصير الى التبت يرقى الى محاولة تقسيم دولة ذات سيادة، ولهذا فهو يتعارض مع مبادئ ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة وكذلك مع روح قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ١٢٩٦ )د - ٤٤(.

In view of the serious observations made by the representative of Iraq and the observer for China, denouncing the interferences of Pax Christi International in such matters, his delegation was of the view that the organization should have been reclassified from category II to the Roster.
وأضاف أنه في ضوء الملاحظات الجدية التي أبداها ممثل العراق والمراقب عن الصين، وشجبا فيها تدخلات منظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( في مسائل من هذا القبيل، يرى وفده ضرورة إعادة تصنيف هذه المنظمة من الفئة الثانية الى القائمة.

40. The representatives of Bulgaria, Costa Rica, France, Ireland, the Russian Federation and Sweden expressed their satisfaction regarding the activities of Pax Christi International and stated that mere expressions of opinion by a non-governmental organization did not constitute an infringement of the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations.
٤٠ - وأعرب ممثلو الاتحاد الروسي وايرلندا وبلغاريا والسويد وفرنسا وكوستاريكا عن ارتياحهم لﻷنشطة التي تقوم بها منظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( وذكروا أن مجرد اﻹعراب عن رأي من جانب منظمة غير حكومية لا يشكل خرقا ﻷحكام ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة.

41. The Committee, taking note of the comments in paragraphs 7 to 10 above, decided to request Pax Christi International to submit to the Committee at its session in 1995 a report on its activities for the period 1992-1993.
٤١ - وبعد أن أحاطت اللجنة علما بالتعليقات الواردة في الفقرات من ٧ الى ١٠ أعلاه، قررت أن تطلب من منظمة )باكس كريستي الدولية( أن تقدم الى اللجنة في دورتها لعام ١٩٩٥ تقريرا عن أنشطتها عن الفترة ١٩٩٢-١٩٩٣.
