At the 3rd meeting, on 21 January 1997, the working group began its consideration of article 2, as contained in the annex to document E/CN.4/1996/102, which read as follows:

1. Adopts the revised harmonized form for notification of contacts, as set out in the annex to the present decision;
1 - يعتمد الاستمارة المنسقة المنقحة للإخطار عن جهات الاتصال كما ترد في مرفق هذا المقرر؛

The three options for this article, as contained in the annex to document E/CN.4/1996/102, read as follows:
والخيارات الثلاثة المقترحة لهذه المادة، كما ترد في مرفق الوثيقة E/.CN.4/1996/102، نصها كما يلي:

1. Approves and adopts the procedures and mechanisms relating to compliance under the Kyoto Protocol, as contained in the annex to this decision, without prejudice to the outcome of the process outlined in paragraph 2 of this decision;
1- يقر ويعتمد الإجراءات والآليات المتعلقة بالامتثال بمقتضى بروتوكول كيوتو كما ترد في مرفق هذا المقرر، دون الإضرار بنتيجة العملية المحدد خطوطها في الفقرة 2 من هذا المقرر؛

Requests [the secretariat of the Convention] to perform [interim] functions assigned to it as contained in the annex to this decision1;
5- يطلب إلى [أمانـة الاتفاقيـة] أن تضطلـع بالمهام [المؤقتة] المكلفة بها كما ترد في مرفق هذا المقرر(1)؛

Adopts the amendments to the rules of procedure of the Adaptation Fund Board, as contained in the annex to this decision, in accordance with the provisions in decision 1/CMP.4, annex I, paragraph 64;
5- يعتمد تعديلات النظام الداخلي لمجلس صندوق التكيف كما ترد في مرفق هذا المقرر، وفقاً للأحكام الواردة في الفقرة 64 من المرفق الأول للمقرر 1/م أإ-4؛

At the 3rd meeting, on 21 January 1997, the representative of Cuba suggested that the Spanish version of this paragraph, as contained in the annex to document E/CN.4/1996/102, should be modified in order to correspond to the English and French versions.
١٧- في الجلسة الثالثة المعقودة في ١٢ كانون الثاني/يناير ٧٩٩١، اقترحت ممثلة كوبا أن يجري تعديل النص اﻷسباني لهذه الفقرة، كما ترد في مرفق الوثيقة E/CN.4/1996/102، من أجل جعلها مطابقة للنصين الانكليزي والفرنسي.

Decides to adopt the guidelines for the implementation of Article 6 contained in the annex to this decision;
