(a) Endorse the International Classification of Crime for Statistical Purposes as the standard international classification for the Production of Statistics on crime and criminal justice;

The report: (i) summarizes the results of the global review of gender statistics programmes in countries; (ii) presents the new guidelines for the Production of Statistics on violence against women and other forthcoming methodological work on gender statistics; and (iii) highlights the major outcomes of the fourth Global Forum on Gender Statistics.

The major conclusions of the meeting refer to the finalization of the set of core statistical indicators for measuring violence against women using statistical surveys and the development of guidelines for producing statistics on violence against women.

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has released its first Manual for the Production of Statistics on the Information Economy to serve as a reference for national statistical offices and other producers of official statistics on business use of information and communications technology (ICT).
