For this the ISU organized and dispatched two sets of letters by the Chairperson-designate of the CCW Meeting of the High Contracting Parties addressed to the heads of the Permanent Missions of States that have never submitted annual reports since becoming party to the Convention and those that have not submitted their reports for the current year.

7. Notes that, in its final report, the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention held in Geneva on 15 and 16 November 2012 did not make any recommendation or decision regarding the continuation of discussions on mines other than anti-personnel mines;

However, as he understood that some delegations needed time to consider the issue, he requested that the final document of the Meeting of the High Contracting Parties should note that some delegations questioned the usefulness of summary records in the light of their cost. He asked that the Chairperson hold consultations on the issue in preparation for the next meeting.

9- وقرر المؤتمر الاستعراضي الثالث أيضاً، كما ورد في المقرر 6 من الإعلان النهائي " تسمية ممثل لمجموعة أوروبا الغربية والمجموعات الأخرى رئيساً معيناً لاجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية " .

5. The Chairperson recalled that the provisional agenda of the 2012 Meeting of the High Contracting Parties had been published as document CCW/MSP/2012/1. He took it that the Meeting wished to adopt that agenda.

The Meeting also decided that the Chairperson-designate of the 2010 Meeting of the High Contracting Parties shall undertake consultations during the intersessional period on the preparation of the Fourth Review Conference and shall report to the next Meeting of the High Contracting Parties.
وقرر الاجتماع أيضاً أن يجري الرئيس المعين لاجتماع الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية لعام 2010 مشاورات في فترة ما بين الدورات بشأن الإعداد للمؤتمر الاستعراضي الرابع وأن يقدم تقريراً إلى الاجتماع المقبل للدول الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية.
