In this respect, article 20 of the Kuwaiti Penal Code No. 16 of 1960 provides that when a juvenile who has completed 14 years but has not completed 18 years of age commits a crime punishable by the death sentence, the judge shall render a term of imprisonment of no more than 15 years.
وبخصوص ما جاء في هذه الفقرة فإن قانون الجزاء الكويتي رقم 16 لسنة 1960 نص في المادة 20 على أنه إذا ارتكب الحدث الذي أتم الرابعة عشر ولم يتم ثمانية عشر سنة كاملة، جريمة عقوبتها الإعدام حكم القاضي عليه بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز خمس عشرة سنة.

Article 120 provides that any public official who uses the authority of his office to wilfully cause damage to others shall be punished by a term of imprisonment for no more than three years and/or a fine of no more than 3,000 rupees.
فقد نصت المادة 120 من هذا القانون على أن " كل موظف عام استعمل وظيفته لمجرد الإضرار بأحد الأفراد يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز ثلاث سنوات وبغرامة لا تجاوز ثلاثة آلاف روبية أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين " .

Where the fraud involves the recruitment of a person younger than 18 years of age, the offender shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.
