يطلب إلى الوكالات المتخصصة وغيرها من المنظمات والمؤسسات والهيئات أن تقوم، كل في إطار ولايتها، بتعزيز تدابير الدعم القائمة، ووضع برامج مناسبة لتقديم المساعدة إلى الأقاليم المتبقية، وذلك للإسراع بالتقدم في القطاعين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي لهذه الأقاليم؛

(a) Assessment of existing mandates for the provision of assistance to the Non-Self-Governing Territories by the specialized agencies and United Nations programmes;
(أ) تقييم الولايات الحالية لتقديم المساعدة إلى الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي من جانب الوكالات المتخصصة وبرامج الأمم المتحدة؛

9. Requests the specialized agencies and other organizations and bodies of the United Nations system and regional organizations to strengthen existing measures of support and to formulate appropriate programmes of assistance to the remaining Non-Self-Governing Territories on a case-by-case basis, within the framework of their respective mandates, in order to accelerate progress in the economic and social sectors of those Territories;
٩ - يطلب إلى الوكالات المتخصصة والـمؤسسات والهيئات الأخرى في منظومة الأمم المتحدة وإلى المنظمات الإقليمية أن تقوم، كل في إطار ولايتها، بتعزيز تدابير الدعم القائمة ووضع برامج مناسبة لتقديم المساعدة إلى الأقاليم التي لا تزال غير متمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، وفقا لكل حالة على حدة، بغية دفع عجلة التقدم في القطاعين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في تلك الأقاليم؛
