In this connection, it requested Governments to make proposals towards a clearer legal definition of mercenaries and requested the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to convene expert meetings to study and update the international legislation in force and to propose recommendations.
وفي هذا الشأن، طلبت من الحكومات تقديم مقترحات من أجل التوصل إلى تعريف قانوني أوضح للمرتزقة وطلبت إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان أن تعقد اجتماعات للخبراء، من أجل دراسة التشريعات الدولية السارية وتحديثها واقتراح توصيات.

The present report is submitted in response to resolution 2005/69 of the Commission on Human Rights, which requested the High Commissioner on Human Rights to convene an annual sectoral consultation of senior executives and experts to consider the specific human rights issues faced by business sectors, to raise awareness and share best practice.

Decides to request the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to convene an informal meeting in Geneva, for a day and a half, open to the participation of States, indigenous peoples and other stakeholders preceding the resumed sixth session in December of the Council to exchange views on the most appropriate mechanisms to continue the work of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations.

14. Also requests the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to convene a third meeting of experts on traditional and new forms of mercenary activities as a means of violating human rights and impeding the exercise of the right of peoples to self-determination, respecting the main objectives defined in paragraph 16 of Commission on Human Rights resolution 2004/5 of 8 April 2004;1
14 - تطلب أيضا إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان أن تعقد جلسة ثالثة للخبراء حول الأشكال التقليدية والجديدة لأنشطة المرتزقة كوسيلـــة لانتهاك حقوق الإنسان وإعاقـــة ممارسة حق الشعوب في تقرير المصير، واحترام الأهداف الرئيسية المحددة في منطوق الفقرة 16 من قرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان 2004/5 المؤرخ 8 نيسان/أبريل 2004(1)؛

3- تطلب إلى مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تعقد في جنيف اجتماعاً استشارياً لجميع من يعنيهم الأمر من الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية ذات المركز الاستشاري لدى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، مستخدمة الموارد المتاحة، وذلك بهدف وضع المبادئ والخطوط التوجيهية في صيغها النهائية استناداً إلى التعليقات المقدمة؛
