In the same resolution, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to give the Institute administrative and other support and decided that the Advisory Board on Disarmament Studies should function as its Board of Trustees.

In the same resolution, the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to give the Institute administrative and other support and decided that the Advisory Board on Disarmament Studies should function as the Board of Trustees of UNIDIR and, in that capacity, should draft the statute of the Institute to be submitted to the Assembly at its thirty-eighth session.
وفي نفس القرار، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام أن يعطي المعهد دعما إداريا وغيره من أشكال الدعم وقررت أن يعمل المجلس الاستشاري لدراسات نزع السلاح كمجلس لأمناء معهد بحوث نزع السلاح وأن يتولى بصفته تلك وضع النظام الأساسي للمعهد لعرضه على الجمعية في دورتها الثامنة والثلاثين.

In addition, the Chairman of the then Advisory Board on Disarmament Studies (which also acted as the Board of Trustees of UNIDIR) wrote to the Secretary-General requesting him to waive the charges for certain administrative and other support services provided by the Secretary-General to UNIDIR and normally subject to reimbursement by the Institute.
وباﻹضافة إلى ذلك، يلاحظ أن رئيس المجلس الاستشاري لدراسات نزع السلاح )الذي عمل أيضا بوصفه مجلس أمناء المعهد( قد كتب إلى اﻷمين العام مطالبا إياه بالتخلي عن التكاليف المتعلقة ببعض الخدمات اﻹدارية وخدمات الدعم اﻷخرى التي يقدمها اﻷمين العام إلى المعهد.

At its thirty-eighth session, in 1983, the General Assembly expressed its satisfaction that the Secretary-General had revived the Advisory Board on Disarmament Studies and requested him to report annually to the Assembly on the work of the Board (resolution 38/183 O).
في الدورة الثامنة والثلاثين المعقودة في عام 1983، أعربت الجمعية العامة عن ارتياحها إزاء إحياء الأمين العام للمجلس الاستشاري لدراسات نزع السلاح وطلبت منه أن يقدم إليها سنويا تقريرا عن أعمال المجلس الاستشاري (القرار 38/183 سين).

Recalling also section III of its resolution 37/99 K of 13 December 1982, by which it requested the Secretary-General to revive the Advisory Board on Disarmament Studies in line with his note of 26 October 1982 A/37/550.
